Anglian Architectural offer a variety of aluminium glazing systems including patent glazing and curved roofs as well as bolted glass canopies and shelters.

We offer a complete package often incorporating automatic sliding or swing door systems into our entrance buildings.

More images »This famous hospital was built in the 1870s and among its strongest architectural features are its superb gothic windows.

Many of the patients are wheelchair users and the trust decided to add an enclosed canopy to provide a more comfortable entrance area incorporating three sets of automatic doors.

The lobby with its curved glass has replicated the lines of the main stone gothic arch over the original entrance.

The surrounding canopy compliments the existing architecture and offers an extended area of protection from the elements.

All aluminium sections, including curves were fabricated in-house and designed for speedy and efficient installation to help minimise disruption to staff, patients and visitors.

In this new concept building the client wished to provide a welcoming environment for visitors and a weather / security lock for his main entrance and reception area.

The idea of an external lobby was rejected because it was felt it would interupt the clean lines of architecture. This stylish yet functional option has proved to be an excellent choice.

Complete with decorative etching and practical opaque roof glass, the lobby combines visual appeal with added comfort for staff and visitors alike.
