Each of the 120 student accomodation quarters in the North Court complex required the removal of single-glazed 1960's sliding window and door sets and replacement with modern double glazed Schuco system RS50 windows and Doors and RS24 sliding systems.

The brief here was to maintain the sight lines of the original building which has been achieved without compromise.

At Coventry University a long list of remedials were preventing the Main Contractor from releasing their large retention.

With neither of the original installation companies willing to return, Anglian Architectural agreed to help.

We attended site and carried out all glazing and associated remedial works including replacement of the glass and aluminium capping, leak detection, repair and hose testing, manufacture of missing or damaged flashings, brackets, rainwater goods and door repairs.

This Leisure Centre roof was covered with a tarpaulin for fifteen months whilst the local council struggled to find a contractor to effect the necessary repair.

Shortly after contacting Anglian Architectural, the tarpaulin was off and it's business as usual.

Rusty, seized up, draughty and leaking, these steel lantern roofs were in need of attention.

The client opted for a modern window insert and general repairs, which immediately improved the office environment below.

Working through the weekend to ensure no undue disruption to the client and office staff, Anglian Architectural removed and replaced the broken steel windows and replaced them with modern aluminium window inserts.

Refurbishment included anti-corrosion treatment and repainting of the main steel framework and replacing cracked glass in the existing lantern roof.
