Cladding - New Legislation

New legislation will set strict deadlines for landlords to fix unsafe cladding or face the consequences. The planned new legislation will make it a legal requirement to fix buildings 18 metres or taller by the end of 2029. AA completed the recladding of the terracotta façade to Sherwood House, London where the existing insulation was deemed not suitable. Existing terracotta tiles were removed together with the insulation and fire stops and replaced with Rockwool Duo Slab Insulation and improved Fire Barriers.
